Enclosure (ExE)

Enclosures: Our explosion-proof enclosures are meticulously designed to house electrical and electronic equipment in hazardous environments. These enclosures are crafted to prevent any internal explosion from igniting the surrounding atmosphere, ensuring maximum safety in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and mining.

Hazardous Area Electrical Enclosures

KLEEV enclosures stainless steel enclosures are certified for use in: Zone 1 & Zone 2 (Gas) and Zone 21 & Zone 22 (Dust) environments. Available as empty enclosures, terminal boxes, or local control panels (LCPs), they provide certified protection for electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment installed in explosive atmospheres.

ATEX & IECEx Certified Enclosures

KLEEV manufactures a range of hazardous-area enclosures built in accordance with IEC and EN 60079 standards.

Typical features include:

  • ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU compliance
  • IECEx certification
  • Gas Group IIC and Dust Group IIIC suitability
  • IP66 ingress protection (product dependent)
  • Stainless steel or coated mild steel construction

Enclosures can be supplied as:

  • Empty Ex enclosures
  • Ex enclosures with certified terminal blocks
  • Ex local control panels (LCPs)

Final Ex marking and certification scope are defined per enclosure configuration.
